The Finnish representative for the Eurovision song contest 2012, to be held in Baku on 26 May, is the young singer Pernilla Karlsson. The Finno-Swedish singer from Siuntio has only 21, and was winner of the New Music Competition (Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu) organized by the Finnish National Radio in the month of February, becoming the official candidate of Finland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012.
The composer of the song is the singer’s brother, Jonas Karlsson, who originally composed this theme for the 50th birthday of his mother. Pernilla Karlsson is also a professional hand ball player in the Finnish Hand ball league. Here the video with the song entitled “Nar Jag Blundar” which means “When I close my eyes.” The song is sung in Swedish language.
