The Crown Princess of Sweden, Victoria gave birth to a baby girl on February 23rd at the Karolinska Hospital in Stockholm, accompanied by her husband, Prince Daniel. The princess and mother are both doing well. The name of the newborn is Silvia Ewa Mary Estelle, and being the eldest of the royal couple, the little princess automatically becomes crown princess, just like her mother, predicting for Sweden a monarchical succession of at least two queens in a row, after the reign of the current Swedish king Carl Gustav.
The royal house of Sweden published today a photo of the newborn princess with only four days of age (on the top). The proud parents say they are very happy in this new family situation.
